Pinch Rolls are mechanical devices used to move and guide material in a specific direction without causing any physical change to its shape or properties. They are installed at various points in rolling mills, including between the roughing mill and intermediate mill and before and after the TMT Quenching Box, to maintain consistent speed, controlled movement, and proper tension of the bars.
Our Pinch Rolls are driven by AC or DC motors and consist of solid rolls connected through a cardan shaft and supported by two high capacity gearboxes. Designed for continuous rolling operations, they provide reliable material handling and precise control of hot bars throughout different stages of the rolling process.
DC Pinch Rolls are installed at critical points in rolling mills, particularly between roughing and intermediate mills and around the TMT Quenching Box. They provide precise speed control and help maintain consistent bar tension during continuous rolling operations.
AC Pinch Rolls are designed to push and transport material accurately over a specified distance. They provide controlled material movement while maintaining the physical properties and dimensions of the rolled product.
